Job Title: Special Education Teachers

Location: On-site teacher in Tempe

Job Type: 1099 contract position for year-round Special Education and flexible scheduling

Position Overview:

This is an exciting opportunity to join a collaborative team of educators and therapists who believe in addressing the whole child through a therapeutic education model. You will be given the curriculum, supplies, and support to work with students in ABA centers. This role requires a teacher who is strong in teamwork, communication, and organization.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and implement Yearly Learning Plans tailored to each student's unique needs.
Collaborate with parents and therapists to integrate and support students.
Provide direct instruction to students in small groups of 1:3 or individual settings, utilizing various teaching strategies and techniques.
Monitor and assess student progress regularly, adjusting instruction to ensure academic growth and development.
Maintain accurate, up-to-date records of student performance and progress.
Communicate effectively with parents and caregivers to provide updates on student progress and collaborate on support strategies.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s or master’s degree in special education or a related field.
State teaching certification
Experience working with kindergarten through second-grade students.
Strong understanding of various disabilities and their educational implications.
Experience collaborating with support staff, including speech therapists, occupational therapists, ABA providers, and other related service providers.
Excellent communication and organizational skills.
Ability to create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
